Objective of the Game
Be the first player to get rid of all your cards by staying sharp, quick, and strategic. Match words with actions, and outplay your opponents to win!
Setup
- Shuffle all the cards thoroughly.
- Deal the cards equally to 2 to 6 players.
- Each player keeps their stack face down in front of them.
Gameplay
- Start the Round:
- The youngest player begins by flipping their top card into the center pile and saying “Momo.”
- The next player goes clockwise, flips their card, and says “Dosa.”
- The sequence continues with players saying “Samosa,” “Jalebi,” and “Dhokla” in order.
- Slap the Pile:
- If the card played matches the word being said, everyone must quickly slap the pile in the center.
- The last person to slap takes all the cards from the pile and places them at the bottom of their stack.
- Special Cards:
- Clap Card: If a Clap card is played, everyone must clap! The last person to clap takes the entire pile.
- Elaichi Card: If someone flips an Elaichi card, they automatically take the whole pile.
- Next Round:
The player who collects the pile starts the next round again with “Momo.”
Winning the Game
- The game continues until one player gets rid of all their cards.
- The first player to do so is crowned the Samosa Jalebi Champion!
Tips for Winning
- Stay focused and don’t lose track of the sequence!
- Be quick to slap or clap, but avoid false moves to stay ahead.
